What I Ate Wednesday

Hello My Loves

Welcome to another edition of my series What I Ate Wednesday. This always is a popular post, so I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I liked eating everything lol!

Breakfast

The usual! I think you know it off by heart at this stage! Weetabix with low fat super milk and banana. To drink I had some warm water with lemon and a litre of water.

Mid-morning snack

I love fruit, so I had some satsuma/mandarin.

Lunch

Some quinoa that was left over from dinner the night before. I added pineapple, spinach and red pepper, it was so yummy.  I love quinoa.

Mid-Afternoon Snack

I craved something sweet, so I had a slice of the tea brack (a traditional Irish cake made by soaking raisins in tea I think!) that my mother in law made us.  She made this low fat, so its half naughty! I added low fat butter and jam and I enjoyed every morsel of it.

I also had a cup of Raspberry Leaf Tea during the day as I am nearly at my due date and this tea is meant to help with an easy labour.  Ill take anything for that!

Dinner

We went out for dinner as we usually do of a Wednesday.  I had a beef salad and a few sneaky fries from my hubbie's plate.  I had a pint of water with my meal. I must say I am looking forward to having a glass of wine with my meals out again after baby is born!

I hope you liked this! What did you eat Wednesday?

  2. You have such an impeccably healthy and clean diet - so impressive! Although I do a lot of exercise, I definitely don't eat as healthily as I'd like to, though certainly still cleaner than most I'd imagine - not counting yourself, that is! ;)

  28. I'm reading this post as I am snacking on Oreos, I feel so darn bad! Haha! I honestly love how healthy you eat even though during pregnancy. Did you have any cravings at all? I had serious cravings for sushi in my first trimester but I couldn't have it as raw seafood was unsafe and had a crying meltdown in the middle of a busy mall. My husband was sooooo embarrassed! LMAO!

    1. Haha Shireen! I love Oreo's too! Dont feel bad, balance is needed too and some sweets and chocolate are important too! I had cravings for grapes and now pineapple! I crave chocolate non stop. Oh and wine, huge cravings for wine, but no alcohol for me until a few weeks time! I actually ate crab sushi and it was fine. I ate it from a reputable restaurant and knew that the crab was good for me. Poor you having the meltdown, those pesky hormones are so unpredictable! X
