My Pamper Evening Essentials

Hello My Loves

There is nothing I find quite as indulgent as a pamper evening. After a stressful day, there is only one way for me to totally relax and that is by running a big bath and pampering myself with all my lotions and potions.

A pamper evening doesn't have to cost a huge amount of money like a day in a spa can.  It can be as long or as fast as you wish.  It is really just about taking some time out for the world and feeling relaxed.

Sounds good?  Well while you start running your bath and lightening the candles, Ill run down through some of my pamper evening essentials:

1. Candles

My favourite candles are Jo Malone.  Yes they are pricey, but the scent they have is just so rich and long lasting, I love them. I can smell their fragrance in the room long after they have burned. Pomegrante Noir  and Blackberry and Bay are my favourite.
However, I have also found that Primark/Penneys do really reasonable candles that look and smell great, starting at €5.

2. Lush Bath Products

Lush products are just amazing to me. They are made from great quality ingredients, so there are no nasty chemicals being soaked into my body.  Their products are really good at what they say they do too.  I have run out of bath bombs and bubble bars (my favourite is the French Kiss Bubble Bar) so I am using the shower gel The Olive Branch now.  It leaves my skin so soft and moisturised and creates lots of bubbles.

3. Face Mask

I love this Clarins HydraQuench Cream Mask at the minute.  It is so rich and moisturising.  I am a big Clarins fan as you might have guessed. I find their products really good quality.

4. A Good Book

At the moment I am reading I Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes and cannot put it down! I love to read and relax in the bath at the same time. I usually buy my books second hand from Amazon as I find it much more reasonable than buying the book new. I am also probably a bit weird in that I quite like the smell of a second hand book! Weird, I know!

5. Music

I love to listen to chilled out music when pampering myself. Bonobo Black Sands Album or some modern classical music in currently on my relaxing playlist.

6. Body Scrub

This Clarins Body Polisher is amazing.  It is like a spa in a tub!  It really takes off the dead layer of skin while moisturizing at the same time.  And its smells amazing! It is a bit pricey, but worth it to me.  I only use it once a week and the tub is quite large so I see it lasting me a long time.

7. Moisturiser

I love Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner which you can just put on in the bath and it washes off when you shower afterwards.  It smells so good and is so easy to use! Fleur de Force recommended this on one of her YouTube video's and she is not wrong. Its fantastic.

Do you love pamper night too?  What are you pamper night essentials?

  5. I can't remember when was the last time I had a pampering session, it's honestly almost impossible with my little one banging on the door. I think my pampering session these days are made up of a good 20 minutes shower with deep cleansing my hair and exfoliating my body.

    1. It must be so hard to get even half an hour with a little one! Even if you can have a pampering session like you said with a long shower, its better than nothing. You have gorgeous hair, so the extra care you put into it shows. Have a great weekend Shireen X

  41. I love pamper evenings but sadly I'm missing a huge step in my house. I have no bath just a shower :( It just isn't the same without a bath to laze off in! But my parents are nearby and I use theirs! And it's the first thing I do when I check into a hotel!
Jo Malone candles are the best and I love treating myself to one.
