What I Ate Wednesday

Hello My Loves

Welcome to another What I Ate Wednesday! I love how you all enjoy reading this series as much as I love doing them (and eating them!!)

Breakfast:

Same as usual, I am afraid I am very boring with my breakfast. It is Weetabix and some fruit, banana today.  I add some Low Fat Super Milk to give extra me some vitamins being pregnant.

When I got to the office, I had some lemon with hot water and a pint of water.

Mid- Morning Snack:

Apple and Glenisk Low Fat Organic Yoghurt.  I love this yoghurt. I am not sure if it only available in Ireland, but it is so good.  We eat 2 packs a week in my house!

Lunch:

Wholemeal roll with some tuna, spinach (my fav), cucumber, tomato and low fat cheese.

I had some decaf coffee with this. How cute is my mug?! It says Hello Beautiful! A mug of coffee and a boost of confidence in one!

Dinner:

I hit a slump when I got home and neither hubbie nor I felt like cooking, so we went to our local pub and had some dinner. I was craving french fries, I very rarely eat french fries unless they are sweet potato, but I said to hell with it yesterday and gave into my craving.  I got some cod and mushy peas and it was all delicious! I regret nothing lol!

I had some water with orange cordial as my drink.  Its a good thing I love the taste of water as I drink so much of it pregnant! Cordial is full of sugar, so I very rarely drink it, but it was lovely for a change.

I was so full after that dinner that I did not need my usual evening snack.

What did you eat Wednesday?

  1. you are such a healthy eater :) a tip on the boring breakfast tho, try muesli. there are lots of variants often with fruits included. muesli is like granola but a lot less sweeter so i guess its a lot more healthier :) congrats on the bun in the oven

  2. I'm impressed with how healthy you are. I start my day with a cup of hot lemon water and it really gets me going. On Wednesday I had a smoothie for breakfast, a salad for lunch and I made shortrib and vegetable stew for dinner

    1. Thanks Rowena! I love that we start the day the same way, with some hot lemon water. Even though I dont drink caffeine since being pregnant, but I found it has the same kick as a cup of coffee/tea. That sounds so healthy and lovely. I love smoothies and salad. That stew sounds delicious. Id love the recipe X

  25. Loved learning how you day went food wise. On Wednesday I was traveling from Orlando, FL to Zurich, Switzerland so I didn't eat that good. A Panini at the airport then junk food while in the plane. But now I am in Italy and I am eating lots of pasta! Hope your pregnancy is going great! Blessings! XOXO, Jeannette

  30. You know what I love the most about this? You gave in to your craving and had some french fries without regrets. I'm pretty disciplined with diets but whenever I give in to a craving I feel bad for the rest of the day and the next maybe. That tuna sandwich looks so good and I love your breakfast of weetabix and banana. I usually do oatmeal and apple chunks.

    1. Thanks Idu. I think its important not be so hard on ourselves with food. So long as we make a good effort most of the time, we should treat ourselves with no regrets. Oatmeal and apple sounds yum. I must try that X
