Topshop Eye Pigments

Hello My Loves

I am a total devotee of Mac Pigments.  I have them in an array of colours and absolutely adore them. They are so long lasting, colourful and really brighten my eyes.  I always get compliments when I wear them.  So devoted have I been to Mac Pigments that I have never tried any other brand to test out their pigments.

Imagine my shock when I was doing a little Topshop haul and saw some eye pigments.  The colours looked fab and I thought I would give them a test to see if anything would lure me away from Mac!

I got the Topshop Chameleon Glow in two colours - Shuffle the Cards and Wax and Wane.   These colours add a beautiful sheer glow to the eyes.  I used a wet eyeshadow brush and dabbed them along the lid, and underneath.  They are really reasonable priced at £9.00 and I must say, really give my Mac Pigments a good run for their money.

Shuffle the Cards is a really warm gold colour with hints of brown and a tinge of red, which can change depending on how the light hits it.

The other colour I got was Wax and Wane.  This is a beautiful pink, purple or blue colour depending on what way the light hits it. It is sheer and just so pretty. I think this colour would be so gorgeous in Autumn/Winter.

What do you think of these colours?

  1. I'm glad you did this review as although I've seen Topshop's makeup in store many times, I've never tried it myself and have always wondered how good it'd be. Wax and Wane looks so luxurious on your eyes! :)

  5. I love pigments, but in the end I never reach for them. Too much glitter for my everyday preferences.

  6. They look very pretty! The first one reminds me of an eye shadow Lancome had years ago and eventually discontinued - and it was just so lovely. Nice to know there's an alternative available. x
