What I Ate Wednesday

Hello My Loves

Welcome to another What I Ate Wednesday.  This is a popular series that I do and you all seem to enjoy it, so I like to do them regularly.  Comment below if you would you like me to do one weekly?

Breakfast
The usual! I am so boring with breakfast as you know!  Weetabix with some banana and low fat milk.




When I get to work I have some warm water with lemon and I drink a litre of water.




Mid-Morning Snack
I had some of my oat and almond butter cookies that really keeps hunger at bay in a healthy way.  You can find the recipe here. I had a mandarin/satsuma also.




Lunch
Wholemeal crackers with egg, cherry tomatoes, spinach, cucumber and a little paprika.  I drank water with this.




Mid-Afternoon Snack
I had my cookies and another mandarin.




Dinner
We went out for dinner to a local restaurant called Aroi in Limerick city.  This restaurant is only open a few months and everyone raves about it.  It is Asian street food and meant to be really good quality.

I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice which had some pork in it.




My hubbie got the Chicken Cashew Nuts dish.




I drank water and my hubbie had some Asian beer which he said was lovely.




We finished off with their homemade ice cream.  We had coconut, strawberry and hazelnut flavour.




It was so yummy. The nicest meal and desert I had in ages.  The ingredients were really fresh and the service was fantastic. Obviously the ice cream was a calories splurge but the main meals were so healthy and guilt free! Also, the whole meal came to €30 which was very reasonable. 

We were so full after this dinner and desert that we didnt need any more snacks that evening before bed!
